Hi, I'm Mia.

 

I'm a Japanese artist currently based in Canada.

 

I create paintings inspired by komorebi—the sunlight that filters through leaves.

 

With a background in interior design, I started painting because I wanted to create something that could quietly live in someone's home.

 

I believe our surroundings shape how we feel and help us return to ourselves. 
Through my work, I hope to bring small moments of calm into everyday life.
